I was very impressed with the sturdiness.
And it came with an optional fitting to enable an alternative mounting. In my case it fit robustly either way.
The 16 inch kickstand was a little shorter than ideal for the Kettler 16″ Bingo. It works OK on concrete or in our shed, but I suspect it wouldn’t be satisfactory on a soft surface like dirt.
The foot design doesn’t permit one to buy a larger size and cut it to optimum length. That’s the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars.
The instructions suggested greasing it after installation, but no grease was supplied; not a problem for me, but your mileage may vary.

double check height required for stand , I purchased it for an old beach cruiser added an inch on length from old one ,glad I did fits /works better than old one. cant beat it for the price had it in 3 days 100% satisfied with price,stand and delivery time

As at least one other person stated, this kickstand did not fit our 16″ bike. It was at least 2″ too small.
We have a 16″ Huffy Cars edition bike that was purchased at Target and it did not fit and was woefully too short. However, it did fit our 12″ Huffy Thomas the Tank engine bike, but we will probably never take off the training wheels.
I checked the product description and the Wald website prior to ordering this item and no sizing information was provided except “fits most 16″ bikes.” If they would have provided a frame to floor dimension, then I would have probably figured that this kickstand would not work.
Here are the dimensions I measured off of our bikes:
Our 16″ bike from floor to frame is 8 3/4″ and this kickstand will not work. You probably cannot use this kickstand if your frame to floor dimension is more than 7″. Our 12″ bike is 6 1/2″ from floor to frame and this kickstand did work with it.

It certainly looks sturdy enough, but the 20″ kickstand does not fit a Marin Hidden Canyon 20″ bike. Even if you bought a longer carriage bolt, the mounting plate simply isn’t wide enough.
