I really love this basket but I want to warn potential buyers against ordering directly from Amazon. I am an Amazon Prime customer, so I opted to buy the one which was distributed through Amazon directly in order to get free shipping.
The basket arrived on time, nicely bubble wrapped… and without legs to attach it to my bike! The picture shows the basket as having legs and the assembly booklet that comes with the basket indeed gives instructions for how to install the basket’s legs. But either A) Amazon’s version just doesn’t come with the legs or B) they sent me an incomplete product.
Either way, the bottom line is: Buy this basket! You will like it. BUT, DO NOT buy it from Amazon unless you are prepared to have a legless basket. Buy it from a different distributor or directly from Wald.

This basket was very easy to mount on the bicycle. The size is perfect, it’s not cumbersom, and it’s quality made. I would recommend this product for those who need a good sturdy utility basket that looks nice too.

I wanted a pretty simple basket for my bike. Just needed to be big enough to carry a few items. It was cheap and I liked the look of the dropped top. I put it on my bike, it was pretty simple to install, few screws here and there, hardest part was attaching it to the front wheel. So far it’s worked out pretty well. I had one of the bottom screws come loose and fall off while I was riding, but it was easily replaced with another screw and nut.
