We have the topeak rack, so bought this to attach a light to the back of the rack. Within a week, noticed the light was no longer on the back of the rack – part of the mount had broken off, and the light was gone. A flimsy design, that doesn’t mount the light securely. Very disappointed.

As has been said in other reviews, I received one of these with the bike rack I purchased. It worked fine for a while until I heard my bike light fall to the pavement. The plastic loop had broken off the rest of the mount. I would recommend finding a different way to mount your light.

Mine came with my rack as well (which I love), but it’s not really universal at all. The instructions indicate it is, although this listing doesn’t, it’s the same thing. Well my light technically mounts to it but barely… it fell off within twenty minutes of riding and may have resulted in a broken light.
I think it boils down to being too thick and not long enough (that’s what she said!).
