Given all the different bike frame sizes out there, I was anticipating that the installation would not be pain-free. But less than 5 minutes after I opened the box, the rack was installed securely to my Trek mountain bike. The only tools needed were a screwdriver and and a wrench or two. The rack is very sturdy and has no problem supporting my fully loaded Topeak DXP bag on my daily commute. The bag slides on and off very easily. I think the rack will last a long time given its sturdy construction.

this beam rack just works…it’s not a lot of money, it does it’s job well, the hidden compartment holds my cell phone on long rides, and the clever bungee system is slick.

all in all, a quality and well made piece of gear that is a welcome addition to my hybrid. buy the fender add on, but mount the fender backwards

Very nice rack. Well worth the $ Easy to install (but probably also easy to steal… We’ll see…) and works great. It lives up to expectations! Nice job, Topeak.

Exactly what I hoped it would be. Very easy installation and well made. It is better than similar type of racks I’ve seen in the stores, and the price was right. Not problems with seller or shipping.
