I had high hopes because of the way the product is set up with three views at any time. However, it started to create data. Miles, average speed, time ect.. were shown and I had not used it yet. I hope it was just this particular one but I will not buy one on line because of the time and lack of personal contact with the seller.

It is a good product when it works.
I am very mechanically adept and skilled with use of tools/technology and materials from engineering background. It works enough on for about 10 out of 15 times with some on site tweaking to get the Tx/Rx to work. But not reliable at all in spite of my efforts.
Pros:
Easy to use
Large script easy to see
Wireless is not disrupted by Heart rate monitor,cell phones – have not used it in city so can not comment on that. Wireless Tx/Rx is better than Cateye mid range units which are affected by HRM.
Has Time, elapsed ride time, max speed current speed and current ride distance, and total distance
Mounting bracket is one of the best out there.
Cons:
Cannot adjust clock for daylight savings you have to remove battery to do this — and re-enter all the data you did at the start! and lose all past data stored a pain to do!
Wireless transmit/receive is unreliable. Comes and goes even with proper distance from sensor. Very sensitive to placement.
One time went completely dead and screen would reboot randomly when handled, fixed this by adjusting/tweaking battery tabs to have better contact then all worked again.
Supplied Tie wrap to hold transmitter is extremely brittle 1st one broke while MTBiking on the trail, I thought it was just the cold as it was about 45 deg. But even on 2nd rebuild kit broke during install plastic is just too brittle. I had to use my own store bought tie wrap to make this work.
Bought rebuild kit – was cheap at about $8 -to use on 2nd bike — this Transmitter only sends higher speeds sporadically works
No Customer service – some proxy customer service company with no adequate data/knowledge base and will not get back to you.
No Vendor contact
No troubleshooting guide.
Conclusion:
I have tried to make this work as I like the cons part of it but cannot recommend this to anyone. Had this now for about 5 months and have basically written this off, and will see about getting a VDO higher end unit.
I like most of the Top peak products I have used, but this one is a dud.

easy installation works very well had to replace battery shortly after installation . a good purchase other than the battery .
