This add-on for Topeak’s beam bicycle racks is well made and is easily installed. I used a bike bag with panniers and the frame worked wonderful along with my Topeak beam rack.

With the frame you have more options as to the bike bag you can use on your rack. The weight is minimal and if you are using it to commute this is a useful upgrade for your Topeak beam rack.

The packaging instructions were excellent and all hardware was secure in the packaging—I give Topeak an A+ for this.

So far so good. Works well with other topeak accessories. i ride a road bike to work, about 15 miles. Little sway, lock to seat well. So far its a smart purchase. Quick release rubs leg just a little.

These work perfectly with the MTX rack, to keep the panniers in place, though I would like the plastic rods that hold it stable on the sides to be made out of the same metal as the rear stabilization piece. No problems yet, I was just concerned during install with over-tightening the side braces and braking one, or if I lay my bike down, it might rest on the rack and brake the brace.
