This review is aimed at the novice end like me. This rack is cool. You can get one cheaper well-functioning, truly. However, the fast mounting system is simply nifty. After acquiring a new bicycle of mountain with disc brakes I found that they need a new bike rack to accommodate for this. This rack Topeak Explorer was really the only solution I found. The Assembly was relatively easy, although you need to remove the rear wheel and fit it with the disc brake after the wheel of. Some cons would be (as other comments have said) that it scratches easily and is difficult to find a standard reflector to attach to the back of the same (which ended with a very old road bike). I also had to adjust my saddlebags hooks slightly to accommodate the large tubes of the frame. None of these drawbacks are really a problem, and at the end of the day it’s a robust frame that gets the job.
