Easy to mount and very sturdy/stable once mounted. The seat surrounds my daughter’s 3-year old body very well. Don’t know if the suspension really works, seems like it might be a gimmick. The instructions were mostly just diagrams without explanation, but if you’ve ever mounted a bike rack before it’s pretty obvious what to do just looking at the diagrams. The seat was more expensive than others, but it seems like the quality and therefore safety is better, although I didn’t research the alternatives that much.

This is by far the best kids bike deat that I have ever owned or seen first hand. Its solid and sturdy and very well designed. The thing that may be an issue is mounting it. I purposfully got a bike with a frame that is tapped for a rack. If your bike is not tapped for a rack, you may have to get creative. Depending on your bike. For me, all I had to do was bend the front mounting bars to the right angle then just bolted it on. Now its as solid as the bike frame. The seat removes very easily and you can mount any number of Topeak “trunk bags” to the rack. This is sheer genius. There are so many options depending only on what kind of riding you’re going to do. If you have to deal with mounting the rack on a non-tapped bike, it will be well worth the effort in the end.

This seat is worth the money! I do not find my bike unstable with the seat and my large 16 month old is comfortable in the seat and enjoys bike rides . . . my husband did have some minor difficulty installing the seat, but that could just be because of the bike (Schwinn Cruiser) . . . overall, I recommend it and think it is worth every penny!

My son who is the biker asked me to gift this for him and his son’s birthday’s. Worked for me and Amazon delivered. I have seen pictures of them going on bikes rides and heard about the little guy climbing in it asking for more. So I think everyone is happy.
