I love Timbuk2 – I own several bags for every purpose, so it seemed logical to pick up a seat pack for my bike (a Trek hybrid 7200). I went ahead and purchased the medium-sized bag. All in all, it’s a good bag for the price. PROS – The material is great, highly durable. The key tether is fantastic as well. All Timbuk2 products are stylish and look great no matter what you’re doing. Small enough your legs won’t hit the sides of the bag as you ride. Velcro attachment loops seem solid after long rides. CONS – bag interior is smaller than you’d think. Couldn’t fit a wallet in there (not even a front-pocket style wallet). Fits a small hex tool, a key ring, and a chapstick. There is no loop on the bag for a tail light – in lieu of this, would have been great to have some reflective flashing (maybe in the logo stitching). If you’re thinking about purchasing, go large if you want the bag to function as a rack/pannier replacement on short trips. Another quality product from the folks at timbuk2. I’ve used their messenger bags for years, and now that I’m back on the bike I’ve trusted them to stow me gear during rides. I have the medium size as well…which can only handle one tube, patch kit, levers, and a small multi tool (barely). The large is considerably bigger and can hold 2 tubes and additional stuff for longer rides. If you want to carry an inflation device, the large size is a MUST. Great pack! Nice bag that is easy to put on and take off. The 3 velcro straps hold it securely. Very nice bag and a good price. Other people weren’t kidding when they said this saddle bag doesn’t have a ton of room. I was hoping to keep my cell phone in there along with the flat kit. It fits my tube, levers, and co2 pretty tightly with not very much room for anything else. Other than that its an amazing bag as of week 4 with it. It looks good and clean, stays put, doesn’t make noise and does what it needs to, and I got it for price that was easy on the wallet. 4 stars because of the size – i got medium – otherwise this would be 5 stars easy
