Bike bought for Xmas present for son. Rode bike hard and often. Frame warped after a cupple o months. Liked the bike, 29 inch tires are lots of fun (yeah, I rode it too). Bike shop mentioned this was typical of low end bike frames, especially mountain bikes. So if you ride hard and often, spend a bit more for quality. This bike is not quality.

I purchased this bike after looking at various inexpensive mountain bikes and expensive ones as well; couldn’t find a happy medium until now! I’ve owned High End BMX Race Bikes and nice Mtn. Bikes before but must say for the money this BAD DOG is a GREAT DEAL! I also was an Asst. Manager for a local bike shop and know bikes pretty well along with components. Needless to say thats why I chose this bike. Most 29ers are very pricy and the majority are single speed. So for the money I got a WHOLE LOT of bang for my buck! For entry-inter rider this is a dream and is geared making it even better! Rolls very quickly, Shifts well, and brakes don’t rub for being inexpensive promax discs. My overall impression with this bike is it is worth every penny. Shoot for what I paid if something breaks I can afford to replace the parts and if it doesn’t break but instead wears out I can always upgrade the parts and customize it to my specs. Welds on the frame are bomber an well done, components are SRAM and decent, the ONLY complaint I have is “cosmetic” and that is whoever did the stickers on the wheels must of been having a tough day because they were a bit beat but like I said it’s cosmetic and will eventually come off or be shredded from riding anyways. I’m 5′ 8″ and approximately 175 lbs. and own the 16″ version of this bike it’s just right and runs on the larger size my spouse who is 6″2″ fits perfect. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bike to someone looking to get into 29ers on a budget or riding in general. AWESOME DEAL!!!
