I have had this mirror for one full month. I loved the mirror and wrote a review here that said so. However, today it fell apart. The mirror has never been subjected to any type of direct contact with anything. The break must be due to the G forces it received from riding. One of the ears that mount the actual mirror broke. If this item were made of metal instead of plastic, it would truly be the best mirror sold. I bought another different mirror today to replace it. Mirrycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle Mirror

Not sure about the reviewer who received no instructions… Mine were clearly on the package — both in writing and in pictures. Install couldn’t have been simpler: (1) Remove handlebar plug (you do need a flathead screwdriver or something to pry it out with). (2) Insert mirror and turn clockwise until tight. Obviously you don’t want to turn it too tight; if you do that with anything, stuff can snap and break.

After the 30 second install (give or take 10 seconds), I went for a ride. The mirror works well and does not get in the way. A sturdy product for a great price. I’ve already recommended it to family and friends.

I wasn’t sure if I would find the mirror on the end of the handlebar instead of on top of the handle bars like most mirrors awkward but it’s not. The mirror provides a pretty good view behind and to the left to watch out for passing cars. The installation was easy and the mirror stays put.

It does not work well if you want to see your child in child seat mounted right behind you. It does not stick out far enough to get a view around your body. But I didn’t buy it for that anyway so I don’t care.

One thing that I didn’t see on Amazon is that the packaging says that the company will repair the mirror for $6 if you need any service on it. You can either send it in, or describe the part you want them to send to you.

This mirror makes my work commute a lot less stressful on left turns.

I have used these mirrors for many years, both on my bike and my wife’s. They are simply the best. The mirror itself is glass, not cheap plastic like some others that over time will fog and crack. The handle bar position and actual views are excellent. Much better than helmet or eye glass mounts. The only negative is that if your bike tips over, the mirror will likely break. But then you control that, don’t you.
