I need to strap my U lock to my rack, was using toe clip straps (remember those? yeah) but they’re too fussy, I want an easy off/on. The Sunlite rack strap fits the bill quite well. Just right and a very reasonable price. The hooks are vinyl coated to protect your rack.

I’ve used these straps for years. Used to find them at bike stores but not anymore. All they carry are bungees, which are fine but they take up more space and don’t provide as much clearance as these flat straps. I have one wrapped around my rack all the time. Eventually it will lose its elasticity but they’re cheap to replace. Buy several and you’ll be good to go for years.
