It does what it should. However, I could have purchased the same product for less at my local bike store. very nice, padded, and good looking. By spending $10 and a few minutes to put on the tape, you could increase the value of your bike by quite a bit. I got this bar tape as a gift about a year ago and recently got in a wreck where I landed on my left drop. I purchased the same tape so that I did not have to redo my whole handlebar. The year old tape looks just as good as the new tape. I commute about 100 miles a week, so it gets uses a fair amount and I think it holds up really well here in the Midwest’s extreme temperatures. I purchased the blue one a few weeks ago, and it’s really comfortable and soft. Seems like it’s made of the material that might get dirty easily. Left the bike outside a few nights and there was a bit of dirt that I just couldn’t pat away with my hands. When I hold the handlebars in one spot for a while, the color seems to fade a bit, but came back after a few days.
