If you are like me, garage storage space is hard to come by. For us, a ceiling mount was not an option so we chose this rack instead. I assembled it myself in about 30 minutes – only problem I had was one hole was misaligned and took some extra effort to get the screw in place.

The rack functions well. I do suggest anchoring it to a wall for safety – I wish this came with such an anchor. Make sure you position the holder arms in such a way that the upper bike can be removed without getting tangled in the lower bike. At my short 5’3″ I am capable of storing my bike from the top rack.

This is a great rack and holds two bikes easily and is very solid!! We did alot of research regaridng cost-quality tradeoffs and determined that this seemed to fill the bill nicely. I agree that the installation directions have an error regarding which bolts to use…easily fixed.

Great bike rack! Holds our two road bikes sturdily, easily adjustable, saves space. We’re renters, so a freestanding rack was essential. Researched a lot, and very glad i settled on this one.

Be warned that the directions are unhelpful and even misleading. My advice is to ignore them.

We purchased this bike rack almost a year ago and have been very pleased with its value and function. We needed a space-saving way to store our bikes without marring the ceiling or wall, and this has proved to be exactly that. I’d like to note that when we first received this order, the box appeared to have been opened previously and the instructions were missing. As a result, it looked initially like a part or parts were missing as well. I had contacted Amazon right away about this, but they couldn’t really help with this type problem and said to contact the manufacturer. It took a little research at that time to find a contact number for Stoneman Sports, but I eventually did. (It’s 626-338-8998, given here by permission). When I called, I spoke with Dennis Wang personally, and he was most helpful, e-mailing the actual manual to me right away. After receiving that, I was able to identify that all the parts *were* actually in the box and nothing was missing other than the manual itself. (Prior to confirming this, however, he’d already assured me that they would ship us any missing parts that we needed right away.) It was so nice to have a problem resolved with so little hassle! I would rate their company service as excellent, as they quickly and pleasantly worked to help us out with this order, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them in the future.
