Slime 10003 Tube Sealant 8 oz. – Reviews
I used couple of bottles of these to fix kids’ bike flats. The sealant did a good job to stop leaks. However, the tool provided to screw off and on the valve stem is a joke, each one of them stripped on my second time use, causing jammped stem valve or even damaged valve(tube). What I have done is to buy a metal stem tool from REI (costs only one dollar!) to be sure no more stripping on the stem when using Slime. I think Slime should have included one like that with the bottle.

As many other reviewers have noted here, slime really works. I use it together with tire liners and thorn-resistant tubes. Since I started using these three things together, I’ve had two flats in maybe five years, and both times I found a nail had punctured the tire. This product is made in the USA.

I have a bike in Afghanistan and in the 2nd day my tires were flat from those dam rocks.
Put some of that green slim in my tires and their still rolling strong to this day.

I’ve used Slime products on both tube and tubeless tires, with the best results on the tubeless tires. With the tube tires, it’s been hit and miss. Some of the tubes admit the fluid with no problem. Others have a restriction in the valve which makes it impossible to get the fluid in. It doesn’t matter how hard you squeeze the bottle, the fluid won’t pass the restriction.
It would have been nice if the manufacturer had documented this and saved its customers time and money.
