The new air mechanic. The swivelling hose connection of the SAM is reinforced with a flexible steel mesh, to tolerate the maximum pressures of over 260 PSI. The Schrader connection is made with a new 2-stage threaded connector, making it possible to screw on and off without any loss of pressure. A pressure reduction valve allows you to set the pressure to exactly the desired value.

This is a finely made product that makes adjusting the pressure on mountain bike air forks quite easy.

When presented with the options of available pumps, I decided to take a chance on the SKS versus some other brands because SKS is a German company and hoped that some of the traditional German “precision” would result in a easy to use and trouble free pump. It turns out that it works very well. The 2 stage valve that screws onto the schrader valve allows for very little to no air loss upon pump removal and filling my rockshox sid to 125 psi took a minimal number strokes to achieve the desired psi.

I paid BIG money for the PUSH shock & wanted a quality accurate pump. There are countless pumps out there and if you’ve done your homework you’ve found that this is the most expensive AND best quality you can find. I can’t believe how many identical competitive pumps are out there that are the same pump but just renamed. Don’t be fooled by product relabeling. Are you gonna save $5 or get the best pump available? You decide. This pump is spot on psi accuracy. As the old saying goes, in this case, you get what you pay for. Get the best & leave the rest!
