I have owned the light for about a month now and I have had no issues. I ride my bike every night back home and it works well for city roads. The blinking feature is great as it utilizes less battery and allows cars to still see you very well. Installation was trivial and batteries are included.

for the money it’s a pretty good buy. Though if you ride a lot you might want to consider an LED light because constantly changing batteries can be annoying.

WHY I GOT THIS:
I had a superhard time finding a light that would work on my tadpole recumbent trike. It’s mounted on a boom going parallel to the length of the trike and has pedals on either side. There isn’t a lot of space to work with. This Sigma Illux was perfect in that it has a unique way of mounting to my trike. There’s only one other light on the market that mounts this way, and this one looks way better.
LOOKS:
It’s also very slim. I like the low profile that doesn’t make it look bulky. The last thing I want is a big ball on my trike. The unit has a gloss black finish. It’s not matte like it might appaer to be in the photo.
USE:
It could definitely be brighter, but I like that the clear cover where the light emits wraps around to the sides so the light is visible from the left and right. if you’re looking for a super bright light, this isn’t the one. I’m sure there’s others that are brighter. This is the third light I have on my trike, so it was more for people to be abl

This light is bright enough for others to spot you in night but not good enough lid up the road for you to see road ahead.
