These pedals are great, easy in, easy out, they shed mud very well… and the best part is that the price of the Amazon was about half of all other prices I could find. They came with a pair of spikes of release of the single, so there is no need to purchase a set to roll.

I bought the pedal PD-M770 to replace an old pair of pedals PD-M550. I also have new shoes for use with the new stops, I was unable to delete my old shoes stops, because screw heads were worn off the coast. These spikes and the pedals are very smooth to use. They make less noise when the alignment in and feel very secure. My right foot would sometimes fly out of the old pedal/cleat (due to wear, I know), but which does not now! I am pleased with these, and cannot imagine the extra money for XTR be height, unless you are taken to eliminate a few grams in weight.

The pedal perfect for everything except the worst mud worlds. I have these pedals on two mountain bikes and road 3/cross bikes. Love them! Cannot think of anything wrong with them, except that 8 years after they wear and I have to buy more.
