I think other reviewers must have had a better mounting system. I bought two of these lights. they came with rubber-stretch bands which I attempted to mount on the seat-post. the rubber broke on both lights within 1 day of putting them on. the light itself is great, and the quick on-off mounting seemed like a good thing on first look but obviously it was disappointing to have them break so soon. if you have lots of old parts for tube-mounting stuff you can easily replace the junk this was sent with, else you will need to buy a new mounting bracket. 3 stars may be generous but i really do like the light – long burn time and great visibility.

I use this any time I’m riding in unfamiliar areas and always at night. Great light output, good battery life, easy to use. I either clip it onto my seat bag or a backpack I wear. Has a nice variety of blinker settings. This is a no-brainer purchase for anyone riding on the road.
