For a small light it’s pretty bright.
I have two; on my upper left & right axles.
When battery gets low have the bike shop change
it or show you how to change the battery in it.

This light is very bright, but mainly when viewed straight on. Because of the way it mounts, it can’t be aimed, and on a seat stay it angles up aiming directly into the eyes of riders right behind. I’d prefer to have it aimed straight back to project the focused beam along the road and not up into the air. If it’s on a seat post, it will be aimed down at the road. It is visible from all angles just not as bright as some models with lenses. It has several eye catching flash patterns. I would like to see a light like this that is fully diffused for the seat stays, or with angled LEDs.
Regarding the battery compartment, it’s designed to use a coin to open it.
