I bought the rain shield and the pants and the first time I rode my bike in them was awesome. It started out with just a little rain and then cats and dogs. When I got home I was dry. What more could you ask for. I know one day that they will fail on me and rip or something because they are not made out of the best material, but for this price what more could you ask for. It keeps you dry and folds up and stores easily. I commute to work and keep this jacket in the bag it came with in my panier. Been through a couple rainstorms and haven’t gotten wet yet. The material is very light and while the fit isn’t that great, I ONLY wear it when it rains. I was looking for a lightweight breathable rain jacket when I spotted this item on Amazon. I did my best reviewing it from the pictures that were posted and it seemed to be what I was looking for. It was $25 and I went ahead and ordered it. What I got was a very cheaply made jacket. The material can only be described as something you might find protecting something in a box that is shipped. It looks like it was made from packing material. It doesn’t seem so “breathable” and after awhile you end up being wet anyway. I wouldn’t recommend this product to you. I’m not happy with it. I’ve relegated it to the garage already. I just grab it to walk the dog in the rain. Bought this to wear in the rain, and it does an excellent job of keeping the wind and rain off during commutes. Very economical choice, and stores compactly in the included stuff sack.
