The stand feels a little wobbly, might not be the best if children or large dogs could run into it. However it does stand freely. It comes with an anchor point and screws to anchor it to the wall for extra stability.

i was a little worried about buying a stand so cheap since most of the ones ive seen are at least $75. i have total confidence that this stand is exactly what i needed. i did pick up some rubber coating for the arms to prevent any possibility of them scratching. other reviews pointed out that a mallet is useful in assembly, there may be some minor differences in fit from one unit to another, mine went into place with no force at all. the unit is made of heavy duty steel parts.

Not a bad product. Some of the parts do not fit together great and have to be forced which makes them harder to change. Fairly inexpensive so not so bad though. The stand would probably be ‘self supported’ ok but would advise to anchor to wall.

I’ve finally gotten around to cleaning out our garage. The stand was easy to assemble and does a great job of getting the bikes out of the way. Me and the kids have bumped the bikes a few times and the stand remained stable. This is a great way for storing multiple bicycles.
