Park Tool PW-4 Professional Pedal Wrench
Park Tool PW 4 Professional Pedal Wrench – Features
The PW-4 Professional Pedal Wrench is designed for heavy shop use. Two 15mm wrench openings are oriented at 30 degree and 45 degree angles so the user can always achieve the best mechanical advantage, regardless of the pedal position. An oversized, asymmetrical head is made from Cro-Moly steel for superior strength and durability. While strong, the PW-4 is thin enough to access all wrench flats. An extra long 14” handle provides the leverage to remove even the tightest pedals. The handle is round and vinyl dipped so it won’t dig into the hand like flat wrenches.

Park Tool PW 4 Professional Pedal Wrench – Reviews
This is the kind of tool that does one thing REALLY well. I don’t have much experience with a broad range of pedal wrenches, but I can’t imagine it getting better than this product. I have a small build and am very lacking in upper body strength, and I doubt I will ever again have trouble getting a set of pedals off. Is it overkill? It just might be. Is it the best pedal wrench you’ll ever buy? Probably.

This wrench is the one to get the toughest pedals off. It may be a bit over-kill, but certainly does the job well.

Leverage was what my local bike shop told me when I brought in my bike to have them loosen my padel. I used a shorter version of a pedal wrench and I couldn’t turn the xxxx thing. I tried to use a hammer with it still no movement. Then this young kid from my LBS bring this wrench out and in no time the pedal was loose. The next thing I did was go to Amazon and bought this wrench. I did not use this to loosen my pedal but I did use it to tighten them. It was so easy that I was afraid I might over tighten them.

Started doing routine maintenance on my bikes a year ago. Switching out pedals was just one issue that seemed to be a real pain. Bit the bullet and bought the Park PW-4. Should have bought it a year ago. Works great! No more banged up knuckles. If you only switch pedals once a year, get the PW-4.
