MKS Sylvan Touring Pedal Double Sided – Reviews

My trail bide came with some pedals suitable for use with bare feet but when my shoes got wet they were slippery and these just about cured that problem. Must more secure pedaling through wet grassy areas.

I recently bought a Schwinn Midmoor bicycle from Amazon and I wanted to put some strapless toe clips on them. Excellent bike by the way. This was impossible with the stock pedals so I bought these MKS pedals from Amazon. Bike pedals are real easy to take off. after a very short time (less than 30 miles) the right pedal developed a noise when riding. It’s a tick as the pedal spins while you pedal. Very annoying, I haven’t had a chance to pup the cap off and grease it up yet to see if that helps.

Edit: added another star, some basic maintenance and no more sound. Just needed to add a bit of axle grease. For the price, I’m ok with doing some basic work.

Great looking, solid, great operating pedals styled like vintage touring pedals. You can’t go wrong with these. I like mine very much and feel like I got far more pedal than I paid for. I will purchase these again for other project bikes.
