By Ernie Wireman, I Been looking for a true view mirror to mount on left handlebar end that stays put and can be set to see past the left arm. I moved the shifter and brake in a little, cut a little off the grip. This baby is it mounted on end with my bright red flasher. Bike WorldUSA also cares enough to give a very good discription plus they get it to you quick. I care not for the convex mirrors, a larger true view mirror close as possible is the better answer. This is the coolest mirror with only a few draw back. Before I start cutting it down I’ve got to say I love this mirror as far as mirrors go! The only draw backs are there could’ve been a small piece of rubber included and the arm could be a tad longer IMHO. Can’t wait to order more of them (I’m planning on 5 more)!

I wanted mirrors that weren’t convex. I hate those, you can see cars behind you but you can’t tell how far away they are. I also wanted real glass, the plastic ones scratch too easy. If the mounting system was just a little better I would have given these fine mirrors five stars. They do require a bit of tinkering and occasional re-tightening. No problem.

This mirror looks very good on the cruiser bike I bought. One thing is it is not really adjustable once you get it on the bike however the problem is going to be in getting it to stay on the bike. I think the metal parts on the metal handlebars is a real problem because the mirror just ends up being sideways and then eventually hanging upside down. I wanted this one because it is a true mirror and matches my cruiser style bike perfectly – its a really cute mirror. I did read reviews before I bought this and remembered after this mirror wouldn’t stay put that a reviewer said to get some old tubing from a bike tire and put that on the handlbar, attach the mirror and tighten it. I did go to my bike shop and they gave me some old tire tubing (they are the ones who originally put the mirror on) now I haven’t tried to put my mirror back on since it was hanging upside down (it has been very cold and I haven’t had much opportunity to go for a scenic ride) however, this friday I will be riding and I believe once I put the rubber between the handlbars and the mirror, I’m fairly confident this will work and the mirror will stay put. Seems to me this will work. let’s hope so… the people who sell this should include something like a small piece of rubber so this mirror will stay put. As long as the mirror stays put, I will be very happy with it. It’s a real mirror which is very nice.
