I bought my unit on 16 Feb and received it about a week later. It was taken from the box and attached to my bike the day it arrived and it worked great however, after 15 rides with it, the unit simply stops reading speed and distance. I noticed that it stop reading after stopping at a traffic light initially. Now, in the last week, it has quit while riding and doesn’t pick up again until I stop, get off of my bike and walk a bit (I do 3mph down the hall to my office).
I am definitely contacting the seller about a refund.

Let’s add insult to injury, shall we? The day I made the initial post, Amazon informed me that I was three days over the time to get a refund. WTF?!?!?!?!? This thing was nearly 50 dollars and has stopped working as advertised!!!! THIS IS A LOAD OF CRAP!!!!
The nice lady that talked to me actually told me to contact the manufacturer: they’re in Australia and have an even worse return policy!

Installation was a snap and this beautiful little computer performed like a champ from day 1! I just unclip it when I want to protect it from weather or theft and it goes back on with no trouble. I ride more knowing how far I’ve gone and how fast. This is my kind of toy……beautiful, simple and it performs!

I really do like this product. It is great to install and take off your bike. Plus the wide range of colors is great for matching it to your bike. The red knog nerd matched my red and white bike almost perfectly. All the features work well. My only complaint is that the sensor has to be very close to the magnet. So close that it can be a balancing act between too far and hitting your magnet. Mine usually has to be no more than a millimeter away to work properly. Am I happy with this gadget? Yep, I do not regret buying it.

This is the Second Knog Nerd 9 function bicycle computer I own. It is exactly what I was looking for in a basic unit without all the other functions that I would never use. One reason I purchased this item is because it is waterproof. I had other units that failed when exposed to a driving rain. This unit is waterproof, shock resistant and easily movable to another bicycle. The display is large and easy to read. I give this product five stars!
