I’ve had this light for about a year and love it. I use it on the back of my helmet in addition to a strobe under my saddle. I’ve taken it on and of many times and it has been very sturdy. It is easy to turn on and off but it does take some pressure. It’s quite visible and does not go through batteries quickly. This is a simple product that is not flashy and will not attract the attention of thieves. It is very simple to take on and off and is does not seem to mind a quick rain. Best of all, it uses a normal AAA battery- no expensive and short lived button batteries. Great product. Works great, my one compliant is that there are too many modes that one must cycle through to turn it off. Blinking 1-2-3 up the row and then the next mode 3-2-1 down the row really isn’t necessary. I have a under-seat bag attached to the seat tube, so I use the angled feature “inverted” by strapping it the rear triangle of the bike’s frame. i have been riding with this light for over a year and it has got me through it safely on my regular night commute…… recently one of the kids i work with was riding his bike next to me and i noticed his light was much brighter …. when we compared the 2 side to side you could see the difference ……..the gekko did not stand on a chance to the knog frog strobe …. so i would say if you want something bright get a frog strobe ….. its much brighter than the gekko =) sorry writing from my wifes account=)
