Jandd Frame Pack Black – Reviews

First of all, I could not fit this bag as shown on booklet accompanying this product. I have 4 (four) bikes: 3 Hard tails; Giant Rincon 19 size, Giant Chicago 17 size, Specialized Hardrock Sport 19 size, Yeti 575 08 Medium. I could not fit this bag to any of the above mentioned bikes in a way it is shown in manufacturer booklet, neither in a way it is shown at so many pictures at web. It is supposed that keen angle of the bag should face backwards thus you should accommodate the side with two long buckled straps inside the front angle of the big triangle, so you attach these two straps to the bottom tube. Well, of course you can do that if you slide the bag into the angle created by top and bottom tubes, but thus you are squeezing the bag inside of the angle, losing inner space of the bag ( and it looks ugly). So you have another two ways: 1) you slide the bag fully back to the seat tube and then if would fit, but as soon as you do this, you will realize, this is not a set up, this b

Nice bag, good materials, well constructed too.
Has two compartments and dual zippers on both sides, which is very nice.

I’ve got a 19.5in. 2005 trek 4300, and this bag fits well. However, i wish i could find a bag that’s bigger! Though it is hte largest frame pack i’ve found to date.

5 stars, but i wish Jandd made a larger size. I am working on an electric bike and need a bag that can carry more batteries.

The Jandd Frame Pack fits both of my bikes (Jamis Touring Bike and Mongoose Mountain Bike) very nicely. Bag is big enough to hold my emergency kit (pump, tools, spare tubes, spare chain link), plus keys and cell phone. Does not interfere in any way with pedaling, and has eliminated the need to use a trunk bag.

Traveling with this has been a game changer, as it fits most rental bikes quite nicely, and doesn’t take up an inordinate amount of space in carry-on luggage. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Jandd frame pack for self supported double centuries. My goal was to provide a place to stick a couple pounds of Perpetuem in it, as well as battery packs for my lights. It works really well except two negative things.
1. When climbing out of the saddle, your knees will rub it. It isn’t THAT bad on a double, but I supposed on a 600k that this may cause some chaffing issues.
2. The straps that cinch it to the down tube are plastic. If you don’t cinch it down super tight you will get the most annoying rattle on earth. – SUPER TECH FIX – I applied some double stick tape (the foam type) and that takes care of the ratttle.
