Bike without brakes, how to ride?
And the bike does not meet specifications.
Bought 2 days, and are not on the security, no way to install, no parts, how to do?How to solve?

My Huffy bike experience was probably the worst experience I’ve had with any bicycle.

Partly, it was my fault – I did not expect the braking system to require you to pedal /backwards/ in order to brake. This makes for a very awkward ride as most people are used to using the handlebar brakes.

The other part was that the gear that holds the chain in place was bent about 5 degrees from the rest of the gear. I realized this after I rode the bicycle and the chain fell right off every few pedaling cycles. I was not sure whether this was Huffy’s, Amazon’s, or UPS’s fault but the bicycle gears sure are not as durable as one would desire.

The bicycle is pretty heavy and I would definitely not recommend this bicycle for use on hills. Using on hills is also dangerous because of the awkward braking system.

The bike looks great when assembled (once all the parts in order).
The box came 1 day later than requested, and the box was heavily damaged on arrival with large sections missing, as well as a hole straight through both sides of the box. Luckily no parts were bent or damaged. However the pedals were nowhere to be found with my shipment, so I had to go to a bicycle shop to purchase new pedals that were the correct size for an additional $20.
The bike rides smoothly, and the seat may not be a first choice for many men as it causes slight discomfort in “certain regions”. If this is an issue for others, the seat is very easy to change.

I didn’t read the instruction manual and just put the bike together. It’s been awhile since I have done that but it was no problem. All the hardware was present which is a good thing. The bike was in great shape with no dents, scratches or missing paint. I rode the bike and liked the easy style of the gearing and the great handling. I like the over-sized tires also. I’d recommend this bike to anyone that is thrifty and wants a bike to ride around the neighborhood and not spend a lot of money. I am well satisfied with my purchase. The shipping was fast. No sales tax and free shipping you just can’t lose with Amazon.
