Cycle-Ops Jet Fluid Pro Trainer PowerTuned technology provides smooth, realistic accelerations and inertia ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. I have been using this trainer for about a month, and love it. This is my first indoor trainer. Finally, I can get a good workout despite the snowy winter weather. I found this unit easy to set up, easy to slip my bike into (Trek 2200), and great for training. Operation is smooth and quiet and the resistance is uniform in any gear. I’m very happy with this product. The JetFluid Pro Trainer does exactly what it says it will do. It lets you attach your bicycle to this stand and ride indoors. To that extent, it performs admirably. I have a Trek 7000 as well as a Jamis 29″ mountain bike – both outfitted with Moon Saddle seats. Since discovering the Moon Saddle seats, I no longer care to use the standard health club stationary bikes during the winter months, opting instead to mount one or the other bicycle to the CycleOps. I have it set up next to the couch in my Man Cave, and when I need to get a ride in, I put on headphones and get a good workout. In terms of resistance, this delivers a similar ride as riding outdoors – absent the head wind of course. Outside, I average 14mph. The effort and distance seem to be the same with the bike attached to the CycleOps. If you ride a regular circuit out of doors, you’ll have as much headwind as tailwind, so it makes sense (to me at least) that my average miles per hour are about the same inside as out. The base is very stable, but you will probably want a support stand (sold separately) for the front wheel. It’s also very well made and requires no tools to set up. You can be riding 10 minutes after you open the box. My only complaint is that it’s not nearly as quiet as I had hoped. The faster you ride, the higher the pitch and loudness. Pushing 16 mph, I really have to crank up the volume on the stereo (even with headphones on) to be able to hear anything other than the whining coming from the Trainer. At lower speeds, this isn’t so bad. If you can find one at a store to try out, I suggest doing so before buying, just to make sure you’ll not be deterred by the sound at the level you think you might be riding at. Good Luck.

CycleOps JetFluid Pro Trainer One Color One Size – Reviews
It was easy to set up and get started.
I didn’t get the climbing block — a 2×4 under the front wheel keeps the bike level. I would recommend a special trainer tire for the back wheel. After a couple of rides I could see that my regular tire was wearing fast.
