Except for the plastic valve on the metal connector, the quality seems pretty decent. If you use sufficient care attaching the connector to a tube, you’ll probably be alright. I haven’t had any problems thus far. If the plastic value eventually breaks, it’ll probably be possible to replace the whole hose including the valve as the hose apparently * screws into the base of the pump. However, replacing just the hose with the valve will likely cost you as much or more than a brand new pump, but then you still have the problem of a marginal valve. 
* I have NOT attempted to unscrew the hose from the base to verify this possibility, though.

It’s made in China. But it seems everything is these days. I still give credit where credit is due. The pump works great. Its made of metal with a plastic handle. It has a cast iron base with an extra long hose (perfect for inflating auto tires that you don’t have the luxury of rotating to a desired position like a bicycle tire). I use it to inflate all my vehicles. With about 15 pumps you get about 4-5 pounds of air. So far the valve stem connector is working fine. Also, to my surprise the pump is rated to 100 PSI! The listing states 70 PSI. I threw away my old manual pump (Walmart Bell brand junk) to keep this one permanently in my garage for weekly use. Only negative is the plastic handle seems a little uncomfortable, but the pumps solid construction makes up for it.
