CrankBrothers Premium Cleat is ultra durable brass material. This cleat is compatible with the eggbeater, candy, smarty and mallet pedals. The Premium cleat is made for mountain bike shoes, and has a two-hole bolt pattern. These cleats weigh 30 grams per pair, have a six degree float, and 15 or 20 degree release. It can adjust 2.2mm to the left or right. Shims are included.

I’ve accumulated over 20,000 road miles on three different bikes using four pairs of shoes outfitted with Crank Brothers cleats. When installed correctly, they snap in and release nicely. I have never had an unintentionally release, nor have I ever had a pair wear out.
