I don’t do much night riding, but when I do this little LED throws enough light to get me through the dark. I paired it with the Cateye 10 LED tail light and they work together great. The mounting tie screws on and off very easily. Also the light comes on and off the mounting extremely easily. It is small enough to take in your pocket as a regular flashlight too. The product quality is pretty good, however the lense has some swirl scratches right out of the box. The light does steady as well as flash, I have only rode with it on steady.

I would recomend this product to a rider who needs a light for ocasional/quick trips at night. Cateye makes other great products that are much brighter for night time riders. Shipping was fast as usual, thank you Amazon!

For the price this is an excellent light. It’s very bright and with the flash mode the single battery lasts forever. Pair that with a rechargeable battery and there’s basically no cost to using this. The new handlebar (compared to cateye’s earlier models) attachment is really nice too. It’s very solid but because the light itself snaps on and off you don’t have to worry about it being stolen. If you need continuous light, I would probably recommend a different light, or probably you should get at least two of these, as it puts a pretty focused beam on the road, but if you just need to be seen, then one of these is great.

I tried many inexpensive LED bicycle lights prior to this one and none of the others were even worth the low price that I paid for them. In contrast, this light is great. The bracket that attaches to the handlebar works well. It attaches easily and stays firm. The quick release bracket between the light and the mount is good. It holds the light firmly in place but releases easily to remove the light. It wont fall off. Nothing rattles around. The light is waterproof and bump-proof (meaning that it does not go off when you hit a bump like cheaper lights do). It seems durable and has kept working after being dropped. The beam is fairly bright. There is the choice of flashing or steady mode. It just takes one AA battery which lasts fairly long. The beam starts getting less bright when the battery is low. To turn the light on you have to hold the button it for a few seconds. This way the light can not get turned on accidentally when it is being carried in a bag.
