This light has a battery pack with a velcro band to attach under the seat. It really isn’t built to be used that way; it really needs to be in a protected bag or similar. The first day I used it the battery & battery cover had bounced off by the time I needed it in the evening.

My bike looks so much better at night when the bike glow is on! I have a blue one around my blue frame and a pink one around my basket. I am like a biking glow stick at night, there is NO WAY a car could miss me! I honestly feel a lot safer with my bike glow and it lets me ride around in style.

I love this thing! Once I put it on my bike, I could feel the amount of space cars were giving me. It was obvious riding my normal commute that cars definitely knew I was there. The battery life is really great too! I’ve had it for a month and use it pretty often and still haven’t had to change the batteries! The Aqua color looks really amazing on my dark frame too, kinda magical!

I have the blue one and I have to admit, I was a bit embarrassed to be riding around with this on my bike at first. It’s like riding a blinking Christmas Tree. But you can’t beat it for visibility. There’s no way to miss it. I’ve had several other bikers stop and ask me about it and where they can get one. I’ve even had a guy driving a car roll down his window and start asking questions at a traffic light. And every time you go by a kid walking with his or her parents, you get to hear, “Oh, wow!” If you’re riding at night, you can’t get much more visible than this. One thing: the control box is not water proof, or even water resistant. It comes with a roll of electrical take to seal it after you put the batteries in. I have it in a zip-lock bag, strapped under my seat.
