I bought this as a combo with our bike trailer. It was not nessasary. The bike trailer already come’s with a coupler attachment. The way it was advertised in purchasing both made it seem that the trailer would not come with one so you had to purchase one for around $10. That was a waste of $10. Now if you plan on wanting to attach your bike trailer to mulitiple bikes then it would be worth the extra money spent.

This is a solid product. It came fast and on time. If anyone has more then one bike then this is a must saves time dont have to switch one to the other bikes.

This coupler looks just like the original one that came with the trailer. It even comes with a tabbed washer to make it stay in place. I bought it so my wife and I can both pull the trailer on either bike, and I am very pleased with it.

A little info about me: I have a Jamis Hybrid that I attach this trailer to. My daughter weighs 33lbs. I ride my bike every day.

This trailer doesn’t pull as easily as the One Step double trailer that we used to have. Even my partner mentioned this and he attaches this trailer to his Jamis mountain bike.
The bottom could use some support, as it sags a bit when my daughter sits in it. Also, my daughter is 4 yrs. old and and is a bit tall, so the leg room is cramped just a little.

I carry this thing up and down from the second floor (apt) and it isn’t too heavy. I don’t fold it, but when I got it, setting it up was super easy.

The good thing about this trailer is that it is small.

I have read reviews on here stating that this trailer is too small for a lot of kids, well, my daughter fits into it fine and she is pretty tall (coming up on 39 inches) and weighs about 38 pounds dressed.

Firstly, great wheels, really do go on and off very easily, but stay on very securely.

Secondly, it was pretty simple to assemble, but I am a diagram follower (I like pictures!), so look at both if you get confused.

Thirdly, very simple and secure way to attach to my bike (and the paperwork that comes with it tells you you can buy an extra coupler for another bike too).

And lastly, WOW, my daughter is no lightweight and I really don’t know she is there at all!

I would highly recommend that you buy a side mirror (larger size if you can get it) so you can set it to watch your little one.

Best thing about this trailer compared to my friends? This one has a roll-up plastic front shield with a fly scvreen behind it – my friends trailers don’t have a mesh screen behind the main on

My 3-year-old loves this bike trailer. We were looking for an inexpensive one, since we wouldn’t be getting that much use out of it, and liked this single-kid option. I was a little worried about how well he would fit in it after reading previous comments (he’s 37″ tall), but that turned out not to be an issue. The secret seems to be making sure he sits far back enough in the thing to give him the appropriate leg room and to be able to easily buckle the straps. It’s compact and rides smoothly, and serves the desired purpose of transporting the little guy around town. It may not be a luxury ride, but he doesn’t seem to know the difference. For the price, it was just what we were looking for. My only complaint is that there’s supposed to be a slit in the cover to stick the flag in (they show it in the picture) but ours doesn’t have that slit, so the flag kind of flops out to the side a bit.

This was the best purchase we made. Our 3 year old just loves it! We had to use the extra extention harness that it comes with, which was great. The fold up and take down is so easy and great for storing almost anywhere. The trailer attaches easily to the bike attachement and detaches just as easy. It is very light weight and I hardly notice that I’m pulling it behind my bike. The storage area behind where she sit’s is small, but just enough room to put a small cooler back there for a small picinic when your done riding. I would recomended this trailer to anyone with a young one that is just too big for those seat’s that attach to the bike.

It is a very good bike and easy to ride. My daughter loves it, we enjoy it together. The seat is a little bit too high for 6-year legs, she can barely touch the ground when it stops.

Get a professional to install this and you will love it. My daughter has been reluctant to learn to ride a bike. She is 9 and they just don’t make training wheels for bikes her size! LOL So we attached this one and it was great! I kept her balanced while she got over any fears and learned to lean with the turns and not wobble while we rode.

The reason that I recommend getting a professional to install it is that if the bracket is not perfectly strait and REALLY tight the co-pilot falls over. This happened, and dumped her right into a mud puddle!

The professional replaced the bolt that locks the bracket with a quick release bolt that tightens really well and makes it easier to store. He was also able to align them up strait so there was less problems.

After just 3 months of riding the one mile to school every day (and back) she now rides her own bike with the same level of skill as the other children her age!

I have a 3 1/2 year old. My husband and I wanted to go on bike rides but we didn’t really have a good way to take our son. He is too big for the seat on the back of the bike and he isn’t skilled enough nor does he have enough stamina to ride his own bike for a distance. We didn’t want to get a pull behind cart because after all bike riding is all about excercising and we wanted our son to be a part of that. We purchased the co-pilot and love it. Our son can pedal when he wants and if he gets tired he can just ride. You have to get used to balancing the bike with the co-pilot because when my son leans it threw me off balance a little in the beginning. It didn’t take me long to adapt to it though. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Before I bought this item, I read all the reviews. I found all good reviews except one.
I ignored the bad one with the wishful thinking that the customer got a bad piece.
I faced exactly the same problem that the customer mentioned. I checked
the design carefully, I found that there is nothing wrong with the piece. It is a
fundamental design problem. There are two clamps, one attach to the primary bike seat rod,
and another on the rod that attach to the first. Both clamps can not be tightened
firmly to prevent it from rotation. Due to the possibility of simultaneous rotations of these
clamps, the trailer can incline to a large extent. With a child riding on the trailer,
it can trip over easily. This problem may not show up in first one or two rides. But with
a few more rides, the friction in the clamps goes away, and they start rotating more
freely. In my opinion, this trailer should be recalled, as it is too dangerous to be on the road.

We had borrowed a friends, loved it and bought one. I have a 5yo and 18month and both were content. I used it mainly attached to my bicycle with no issues except backing up (pulling into garage no biggie, but out is a little work). Everything attaches easy and fold beautifully.
I am a little pessimistic about the handle bars as they clamp on and tighten as opposed to slide in.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE “Customers Also Bought: the bike attachement”. I bought one and this comes with one, waste of $10!. Only thing you need is to blow up the tires!
10minutes to assemble and 10 to break down.

I searched every website for months making sure I was getting a great deal on a needed product. I was skeptical because others wrote about other brands being the best. I am so glad I bought this bike trailer. It works perfect for my 2 girls! They really enjoy it and there is more than enough room for both of them. I am picky when it comes to safety and quality. This trailer is it for me! Very easy to install the coupler and very easy to attach the bike trailer. I bought the extra coupler. The trailer comes with one. All around I am thrilled!!

Not For Hire

My grandkids love the trailer! I put my three and two year olds in it and there was plenty of room (I was concerned about this). The trailer is easy and steady to pull. You do NOT need to order the quick clip attachment unless you want it for a second bike. Once the trailer is assembled (no more than 1/2 hour) and the connector attached to your bike (maybe 15 minutes), unfolding it and hooking it to the bike is a five minute operation. It folds up quickly and stores in a small corner of the garage. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to let the little ones go along on a bike trip.

this trailer is the best! My grandkids love it so much. It is so easy to transport because it folds down flat and the wheels just pop off and lay on top. Everything folds! Once we figured out how to attach the coupling to the wheel of my bike, it was a piece of cake. The ONLY bummer about this trailer is that my grandkids are going to outgrow it before it wears out.
Definitely cool.

I’ve pondered purchasing a bike trailer for several years and my only regret is not purchasing this model sooner. I was hesitant to get one that does not boast a molded seat since my children are on the larger size for a bike trailer (4 and 6) and I feared they wouldn’t be comfortable. But then again, knowing I’ll only be able to use this for a short time (especially with my 6yo who *does* ride her own bike most of the time) I was resistant to spending close to $200 or more to get one with a molded seat! I decided to give this one a try since the pricetag was reasonable given the occasional use I have planned for it (once a week or so).

It was very easy to assemble (my 12yo did it for me, husband double-checked assembly to be safe) and very easy to attach to my bike (I did this myself and was pleased to not have to ask my husband for help). It was comfy for the kiddos except the 6yo (45″ and 55 pounds) does not fit in the 5-point harness but 4yo (45# and 42″) fit perfectly. (No
