Toolkit Nice… very good quality but….

The Pocket, that it has a slice on the back matte with fixative F55 (not included) of which staps to any position, otherwise there is no way to right of attachment. Fixer F55 is part of $3.95, for a reason, they have decided not to include the Alien II itself. Shipment of this part is $5.58. Now, I ask you… who want to would not it included with the Alien II?

Topeak Alien II Wow 26-function bicycle tool what great device. Rather than carry 4-8 Pocket tools tearing due to the weight of husband, we have had this tool. We have only taken no help 11 km by bike in the Cades Cove except on your own if break you. All 11 bikes and family was fine. Several bikes necessary adjustments and this tool handled all the problems that have occurred as a field.Thank you to think. I would call it “the mcgyver” tool bike no tape included!

I have just received the Topeak Alien II 26 function bicycle tool and I am very impressed. Well made tool, almost everything that you need to do emergency repairs and repairs shop too, in a compact package. It has tools for road and mountain bikes. For those who might think the bottle opener is superfluous, the PIN tool of flat-blade screw driver and chain are integrated. This tool is similar to those on the Swiss Army knives that integrate a screwdriver flat blade with the bottle opener.

That said, I will offer the following disadvantages on this tool. It is a little heavy, but waited in a tool of this well done and complete. As I have only a road bike without brakes disc, Torx T – 25 tool is not for me, but could help a friend I ride with. I found that align unless them you carefully, the two halves of the tool could only be halves-attachment to each other to reassembly. Finally, I wish they had included the post mount the seat with the tool, as opposed to need to buy separa

The kit looks good, it contains everything needed to correct most small and medium-sized holes in a tube. I did not have a flat yet so I’ve not really used the it. A friend I ride with that has the same kit and got a flat. Used this kit to fix tube well enough that we could get home without having to carry his bike on a 4 km trail. Unless you have only a very small hole, it is not intended as a permanent solution, a damaged inner tube must be replaced as soon as it is convenient.

This kit came on the same day that I got a dish (sweet!). It was very simple to use, includes Notepad, the number of patches listed (I forget the no, I think that 6), and glue curing worked well. Directions made sense. Although these kits are sometimes cheaper in discount stores (bike shops are just.. always expensive, while naturally in a way) this kit is ideal to be available in 2 days.

bubbieI followed the simple statement inside and fixed my tire. The whole process was pretty easy and fast. The package is solid and tiny, so you can occupational with it without any problem. This package will help you set up to 6 holes on your tires. Therefore, about $1 each.

Well made, fits perfectly, and does what is should. Also, for those wondering it fits nicely on a 1″ socket.

Has worked perfectly. Swapped several SRAM cassettes. This is the tool with the rod which is the one you want if the hub takes, as most do, a quick release skewer. I was somewhat surprised that the tool stayed in place without problem.

As other reviewers have mentioned you need a chain whip and a large crescent wrench. A vise would do even better.

Well, it was cheap and did the job. I don’t know how many people are going to have a 26mm socket lying around to torque the lockring, but you’ll need one if you want to do that. The SR-1 Chain Whip tool has a 26mm box end that will work if you feel like rolling the dice. I’d like to have the option of using a 3/8-in. or 1/2-in. square drive so I can directly attach this to a ratchet/torque wrench.

I used the 2nd Edition 1974 classic book – the complete book of bicycle (4th Edition) to repair my bike, but technology has changed. So, I took the large blue book place in bike shop. I repaired my own bike for more than 40 years, mostly by trial and error. So when I was lubricating bearings in my rear wheel and missed one of them back I thought as it was time to see how to do it correctly. The answer was in the Big Blue Book – use a magnetized needle (I will magnetize our meat kebab) to move the bearings back in place – I had actually used a magnetized screwdriver – the problem being that the screwdriver could out adjacent bearings when I was trying to push another in. This book is an immediate solution.

You will find many useful tips such as the lifting of rolling ball, all beautifully illustrated with colourful drawings. The detailed steps tell you how to perform maintenance tasks and the time to take your bike to a shop for more difficult jobs.

I was repairing my own bicycles for years, but I recently upgraded my bike. The new bike came with the last string of brakes, sprocket, derailleur and well I imagined that I should upgrade my knowledge of the repairs to match. To this end, this book is great. As for a person who is very handy with tools, knows something on the bicycle repair already, this book is everything you need. It is concise and clear diagrams and photos will get your bike in perfect condition. However, if you have never done the repair work, I would not start with this book. It is good that with photos and instructions you can say pretty much what is the level of skills necessary to make the remedy, but if it was my first book could not quite enough information. I like these books of kitchen rates that tell you everything that you need to know but to do so in a language that include experienced leaders, and so beginners are lost.

For a beginner, I would recommend to someone the bicycle Book: A complete bike repair manual and the blue book Park. Or manual of Glenn full bike and this book.

For a well paid GB mechanic bike for her. It is also good as a park, which is excellent.

I received this book for an introduction of Park tools to the bicycle maintenance class at my local REI. I found it quite useful tool when you try to determine how to repair my bike, or to perform maintenance tasks. Color images are sufficiently detailed to be useful, and the explanation of each image also helps know you what you watch. This book definitely sets itself apart from the bike other books available with its standard maintenance detailed education, coverage in each of the different types of brakes, derailleurs, levers of change, etc., and the excellent photos. Only the negative and obviously it is not too negative I have given the book 5 stars, is that since the book is tools Park, the course will only suggest to use the version of a tool park or even if something cheaper or better may exist. It is certainly something I would recommend that that this be put in place of their workshop House or who is in need of some instructions on the bicycle of the most basic dish deta

I found this book to have all the illustrations that need to properly maintain my bike. The book most frequently recommended on this site, bike complete maintenance of bicycle and repair Guide: for road and Mountain Bikes (Expanded and Revised 5th Edition) I found to be great on theory but horrible for practical applications.

This book, the Big Blue Book, on the other hand has tons of practical applications. I feel his book perfect for those who want to spend more time fixing their bikes, and less time to discuss what angle a fork or saddle stem should be at the.

A single image that stands out is dismantling the rear hub, how many different types of fittings you can expect to find. It is very straight forward and something a mechanic starting definitively need, and a good reference for anyone in any jurisdiction.
