These are clips of OK, but it is 50-50 on whether you are clip in the first shot. And when you do not clip in this first attempt and have to go faster now… can be pain in the groin. These clips of plastics, jewelry in 2500 km (at the bottom of foot) and require another purchase of $20. I like most all Shimano makes, but it is not your best effort.

These are Shimano standard that wear and the ancient unbolt and replace them with these. The only problem is the screws that hold them in. They come with short screws and mine needed a screw… I think that they come with 8 mm bolts and need a 10 mm for my Sidi shoes. Finally found some out of a bicycle shop in the (Jensen)-$ 4 screws for $4 for shipping… Or if you are a true sport can get $10 titanium bolts! My old nails were held with a collection of hardware from various sources… screws must be tightened from time to time. But enough about screws…

NonfictionWell, they work and carry quite well. They have done a few triathlons and a Duathlon with these and they have held up pretty well. If you buy Shimano pedals, do you have any choice? Anyway, are good staples and it can take some heavy duty.

I purchased a road bike with clipless pedals but did not have the proper cleats for my bike shoes. I went to a local bike shop and found a set for $30. I was able to purchase the identical item on Amazon for about $17 including shipping.
