This fits perfectly on my hybrid bicycle. It is a little heavier that I expected. And it can pop loose when you arrive on a hump and its emptiness. Believe or not and more than once, when riding through a hump sharp, the two handles pop up and the basket before tomb so that it is only supported by the bottom brackets. I had to bungie the handles downwards to avoid this to happen.

This leads to a point, but not a negative. Instead of sitting on a kind of “plateau” as represented in the photo, model me had two holes in the back and two “points” which fit in the holes to hold it in place. The only disadvantage of this design in relation to the method of the plateau, is the substance is not completely flat, so you can poke a hole in a bag or box you carry in the basket. Also, is there not mount on the front of a reflector.

Right product strong enough for carrie two litres bottle while being capable of but small articles. Easy on and off and you can use the basket for shopping of the quick stop. Just one thing have tie handles because if you hit a bump they may release the basket.

As many cyclists, I have a dedicated bike from city lights, fenders and loading capacity. I would like to able to easily remove the baskets, if I want to ride without them. I love this cart. It’s easily offshore to make purchases. It is secure on the bike on curbs and gutters and all around the city. It is not on some small bikes that have a head tube short because this Fund on the wheel. I use it on a 21 “1981 Stumpjumper Sport.” Do not interfere with the cables or brake levers. I love the finer mesh on the bottom of basket that allows me to launch small objects avoiding. My camera bag fits perfectly within the basket. I use it for small races with basket to the rear baskets. My rear baskets are mark Basil Cardiff, I bought by Amazon. Also, they take off easily and are secure on the rough stuff.

I bought this basket to my new “beach cruiser.” It installs quickly. The portion of mesh basket extends enjoyed high as photo shows, which makes it good for the failure of small items, such as car keys. The basket also removes easily and securely locks in a way that would make the Chinese puzzle makers proud.

Only negatives are that the basket tends to sit rather dishonest on my bike. It is about ten degrees to the right when I turn right. If you’re facilitated a heavy load, this cart can handle, but it tends to slosh around some, which makes it a little more interesting to a Director.

Overall, I am pleased. It happens easily and comes easily offshore and carries a good load.

I put this basket on my Cruiser and I get compliments on it all the time! My only complaint is that you must put the basket on the notch of the slings, therefore it will wobble around, but also that the leather long remains tense, I am sure I will have a great experience with this basket! I keep my bike indoors, or covered to avoid damaging water and weather conditions. Grand market and quality of products!

After I finally decided this basket, I am pleased to say that the disappointment or buyers remorse did not follow. It is an ideal solution for my comfort bike like a Cadillac, with enough space for my bottle of water, camera, i – pod and a random shirt with a lot of place left over. It was easy to ride with the adjustable straps. I even did a little shopping with it, everything where put you and the whole picture just LOOKS fabulous! Definitely recommend!

First off- I have about a 5 pound Yorkshire Terrier. She’s 6 months old now. I decided to let her enjoy in on some Family outdoor biking activities. My First thought was for her Safety/Comfort. After previously owning a basket for another animal I had in the past- I opted not to go that route again. Let’s just say- cheaper isn’t better and some baskets are not intended for your little furry friend. This Solvit Wicker Bicycle Basket was not only versatile- but comfortable for your pet- and provide the necessary safety attachments needed to ensure your furry friend stays put.
After much research on other sites and price comparing- The Solvit was my #1 Choice for my Stella.
Aside from the bike being a bit unstable when the dog is removed and you have left it parked on the kick stand- That’s the only unstable part of it. The positive thing is that the basket is EASILY Removed with a quick tip up from the bracketry mounted to the handlebars. This also makes hauling and preserving the bas

My dog Maddie is a 10-11 lb Cavapoo. She fits well into this basket and it’s very sturdy. The belt clips onto her harness. The belt is a little long so I shortened it. I haven’t tried the sun shade yet but I plan to. I put the whole thing together myself in less then 10 minutes. It’s very easy to put the basket on the attachment and also removes quickly. I looked all over for a safe and attractive basket for my new Electra Townie Bike and found it here. I highly recommend this basket.

It is very cute! It might be a little too small for my Bichon (11Lbs), but he can still fits in it. I just put it on my bike yesterday. I can go slow but not fast yet. I need a little practice but I love it.

After doing a lot of research on dog bike baskets, I finally decided on this one. The Pet Gear and Snoozer Buddy Baskets were the other two I had been researching, and while I like that they doubled as bags/car seats, they just didn’t seem as sturdy for a bike. I’m very happy with my decision – the Solvit wicker basket feels so sturdy and the mounting system is very secure. I have a 10 lb miniature dachshund, and she fits in this just perfect! The tether keeps her secured down, but also allows her some room to shift around if she wants to get a different view. To my complete surprise, she did not try to move around a lot or jump out the first time out in this! After a few minutes of getting used to it, she seemed pretty content taking everything in and just enjoying the ride. I’m so happy with this product – exactly what I was looking for, so I could spend a summer out enjoying my bike without the guilt of leaving my dog at home. I bought one for 26 “cruiser my wife and just perfect!” Very easy to install and very solid. I bought the delivery basket for my bike, but I’ll get one of them instead.

My bike is an older 3 speed English-style bike. The basket is easily installed in 15 minutes. It is the right size to hold a paper single grocery bag, although you should be careful in putting too much weight in it and unstable bike. The basket is well built and finished. I am very happy with it.

I wanted a nice solid basket for my early 1960s 26 “Schwinn 3 speed and I found it in the 135 Wald.” I was concerned, it is not good to worry,, but it is almost as if it was designed for my bike. It took me a whole five minutes to install, and is a piece of beautiful quality. A grocery bag of standard size perfectly, to give you an idea of how big it is. Carrying a couple of gallons of water on the front was a little confused the first time I tried, but I got used after a certain time. I recommend to keep a small bungee cord strapped in to help contain everything that you are carrying, but beyond that, it is a big basket.
