For a person with a larger head it fits easily. The air vents keep the head from overheating. Great helmet! Only minor complaint is the clasp under the chis is awkward to use. Very good value for the money!

I enjoy boke riding but it has always been a pain (literally) to find a helmet that fit m this big noggin of mine> One day I got the bright idea of performing a search to see if there was such a thing a larger sized bike helmets. See, I had visited just about every bike shop in the Los Angeles area and none could adequately fit this head of mine. Well, I found several sites but decided to go with Amazon because I order all my books from them.
Well, I got my helmet today. I know the Bell brand well..when I first put it on it was still a tight fit, but then I looked at the instructions (what a novel idea) and saw the adjustment knob and what do you know?! The waters parted, angels sang and the helmet fits! I mean it really fits!

All I can say is thank you Bell, thank you Amazon, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

My previous Bell helmet (Nemesis 2 Pro) was getting on in years and was recently lost/stolen/missing. Too bad because I loved that helmet. It was the Canadian flag model with a maple leaf design. Well, I don’t want to ride without a helmet (car versus bike is not good) so I purchased the Bell XLV in titanium and I am definitely pleased with it. I have trouble finding a comfortable helmet due to a large skull with strange bumps on either side. Must be all the brains. The XLV fits like a glove. You can dial in a more precise fit at the back of the helmet. The price was about one third the price I paid for the Nemesis. All in all a great buy and highly recommended.

My husband had bought me a helmet from Walmart. It was an adult and having never bought a helmet before I guess I assumed it was “one size fits all”. Nope, fits his little round head but not my big ole egg shaped one (Thanks Dad!) Anyway checked around on here and saw all the good reviews and figured I’d give it a try. It actually fits. It looks goofy as all out, but in my opinion most of them do, but at least it fits.
