Bell SmartView Bar End Mirror – Reviews
This item is good but not great. It is not very stable and you have to continually adjust it, but adjusting it is safer and easier than turning around while riding.

If you have a thick-handlebar bike, you may at first look wonder if this mirror can be installed. Not to worry: it can. Though the socket is clearly designed for a racing-size handlebar, the Velcro strap is flexible and wraps easily around any size shaft you may happen to have, snugging down tightly. The mirror is easy to adjust and gives a view encompassing at least two standard traffic lanes. The one drawback is that as you ride over washboards and potholes the mirror jiggles out of line; at intervals you have to stop and readjust it. But it’s easy to do once you get in the habit of checking to make sure you can still see what you need to. A good item for the price, and requires no tools to install.

The mirror itself is ok, but the mount is sort of junky.
After you adjust the mirror a few times, it begins to slip when you hit any bumps causing you to have to re-adjust the mirror a lot.
Also, seems to fit better on the right side then the left.
Lastly, if you have any kind of bike other then a granny bike (ie, road bike or bullhorn handle bars) this mount will take some modifications to have it fit securely.

This product is not good when attached to a handlebar that is being used. The slightest movement of your hand moves it no matter how tight you make it. I gave it 2* just because it would probably work alright if attached to a handlebar that is not actually used, such as on a road bike. But I only gave it 2* because even the bumps in the road made it move when I didn’t have my hand on it. I suggest getting a mirror that inserts into the handle bar rather than attaches to the outside.
