Bell Influx Bike Helmet Matte Black-Titanium Medium – Reviews
I gave the helmet to my husband for Father’s Day. I was afraid that the helmet was not going to fit his head but after making some adjustments to the helmet, it fitted perfectly. He loves the helmet and I love the peace of mind of knowing he is protected when he rides his bike.

As summer started to approach I started looking for a replacement for my helmet which was the cheapest thing I could find at the chain store bike section. I had several criteria:
1) Comfortable
2) Well ventilated
3) Able to mount a LED headlight without much problem.
Price was also a factor but not a huge one. I was willing to pay for comfort. I seriously considered the Gyro Atmos. High $, high end but super well ventilated. Lots of reviews raved about its comfort. I also considered a helmet by Fox which had a nice ridge in the front to help out with mounting the light.
In the end though I ended up with the Bell Influx which was about ? to 1/3 the price of the others. As “cool” as the Gyro Atmos seemed I couldn’t deny that the Bell fit my head better. The internal curve of the helmet was more condusive to my head shape. Also the back mounting bracket (where you adjust) goes considerably lower than the pinch brackets on the Gyros helmets. This results in a more secure front to back

All bicycle helmet materials eventually become brittle with age, so it was time for me to replace my old helmet with a new one. I’ve always been impressed with the price/performance ratio of Bell cycling helmets, but this time, I researched other brands just in case something better may have come along. I concluded, as I have time and again, that the best all-round alternative is still a Bell helmet. When it arrived, and I tried it on to fine-tune the fit, I was impressed with the adjustment mechanism, which seems to have gotten more comfortable. I recommend Bell as the most trustworthy, reliable, and most importantly, safest cycling helmet in its price range, or any price range, for that matter.

This is a great helmet and it’s about the most comfortable one I’ve tried on. The GPS retention systems works great to cater to the exact size of your noggin to get a good snug fit. Plus the looks and color scheme are awesome! The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is becase it doesn’t seem to ventilate as well as I had hoped. My old Giro Indicator helmet seemed to do a better job of keeping your head cool, but wasn’t near as comfortable as this one.
