The tire’s that came with my son’s bike didn’t last very long. I’ve heard they are often in storage for a very long time before they make it onto a bike and into the US. Whatever the reason, they came apart quickly. Taking it to a bike shop would mean waiting for them to get the part and paying almost as much as I payed to get the bike in the first place.
I ordered a new tube and this new tire from Amazon. I was glad they had them as 16 inch tires and tubes don’t seem to be too easy to come by. I searched youtube and watched a video on how to switch them out. Actually doing it took 15 minutes or so and was really pretty easy. My son is happy to have his new tires and we’re happy that we don’t have to be constantly putting new air in his tires every time we turn around.
This was a great value.
